Information On Our Tent Rentals
COLOR:
We
offer solid white tents. Our tents utilize a blockout material
that reduces the heat beneath the tent on hotter days and its
composition eliminates shading problems that occur with more translucent
fabrics.
SIZE:
We
stock 10', 20', 30', and 40' wide tents in varying lengths. Additionally,
we have access to 60', 80' and 100' wide tents from outside suppliers
available.
CAPACITY:
The capacity of a tent will vary
with each event particular need. We prefer to discuss an event
with the customer so we can recommend an appropriate size.
SITE SURVEY:
Measuring and evaluation of a tent
site is available. Please inquire for this service. In general
a tent site should be flat, level, dry, free of overhead obstructions,
and mostly ledge free.
SPACE NEEDS:
All tents require additional room
beyond their size for staking and erection. For a pole style tent
10 to 12 feet should be added to both of the dimensions of a tent
to allow for this room. Frame tents can be installed in areas
not much larger then the tent itself.
STAKING:
All
tents require anchoring to the ground - in the case of pole tents
for structural support - in the case of a frame tent so that they
are tethered to the ground. Customers must notify us of the location
of any underground utilities, septic systems, or irrigation systems.
The customer should contact Dig Safe at 1-888-344-7233 to have
local utility companies to mark off any underground services.
This is a FREE service that requires 72 business hours notice.
PRICE:
The price of a tent depends on
the size, style, location, and the logistics. Please contact us
for a quote.
SIDEWALLS:
Sidewalls are
an option and come as solid, clear, mesh or windows. They can
be put on or removed as needed - they are not permanently attached.
SET-UP:
We generally
install our tents between Wednesday and Friday prior to a weekend
event. Wedding orders are given priority to give the customer
time to decorate and work out seating arrangements. On some of
the busier weeks we will do some installations as early as Tuesday.
Monday is our main removal day, however sometimes it may be done
on Sunday or Tuesday due to the weather or a heavily scheduled
day.
RESERVATIONS:
A 25% deposit
is required to reserve a tent. The balance is due upon installation.
If the order is canceled 30 days prior to the event it is fully
refundable. Cancellations after 30 days from the event result
in loss of the deposit. The rule regarding reservations is first
come first served. We accept all major credit cards for your convenience.
FINAL COUNTS and PAYMENT:
On tent rentals
we need to have your final counts about 7 working days prior to
your event. We will typically contact a customer on the Thursday
of the week prior to their event for this information. Final payment
is due upon installation.
TENT RENTALS TYPICALLY INCLUDE:
Installation
and removal of the tent.
Installation of dance floors, stages, lighting, and heaters as
applicable.
Sidewalls attached to the tent or left at the site at the customers
discretion.
Delivery and Pickup of tables, chairs, and any other rented items.
Please note that the dance floors are installed directly on
the ground and will follow the lay of the land. It is important
to have a level area for a dance floor.
